Our Story — Pearl Hook Atelier

From Little Hands & Tiny Stitches to a Beautiful Handmade Journey

Every beautiful journey begins with a small idea. Pearl Hook Atelier’s story began around April 2025, not with a business plan, but with something much more special — two little girls discovering the joy of crochet.

As we watched their little hands transform simple yarn into beautiful creations, an idea quietly took shape: What if this creativity could become something bigger? What if these little stitches could turn into creations that bring happiness to others?

That little idea soon became a dream.

Batul Husain Chakera, Founder, together with Co-Founder Husain Chakera, decided to give that dream an identity — Pearl Hook Atelier.

With the Raza & Dua Mubarak of our beloved Aqa Maula (TUS), we began our journey with faith, passion, creativity and just a handful of handmade products.

We started small, learning and experimenting with every stitch. One creation led to another, every order encouraged us, and the love we received inspired us to keep exploring new possibilities with crochet.

Today, Pearl Hook Atelier has grown far beyond those first few creations. Our collection now brings together handmade products for kids and grown-ups — from baby booties, rattles and soft toys to bags, clutches, charms, keychains, bookmarks, Rida Pardi pins, brooches, hair accessories, mobile accessories, organisers, gifting creations and much more.

And Today, We Are a Team of Four ❤️

Behind every Pearl Hook Atelier creation is a small team with a big passion.

Batul, Zainab & Hawra form the creative heart of Pearl Hook Atelier. From crocheting and crafting our products to experimenting with ideas and bringing new designs to life, they are constantly working behind the scenes to make every creation special.

Husain Chakera looks after the marketing, digital media and brand presence of Pearl Hook Atelier — taking these handmade creations beyond our worktable and helping their stories reach a wider audience.

Together, the four of us bring different strengths to Pearl Hook Atelier, but share one common thought:

Create with heart. Grow with creativity. And never lose the handmade touch with which it all began. From two little girls picking up a crochet hook to a team of four building an ever-growing handmade brand, it has been a beautiful journey.
